Dear Parents,
In previous years the youth of the Islamic Society of Corona/Norco have been unable in forming a cohesive organization that would allow them to participate in fun activities and connect with their Muslim Identity.
This year we hope to 'revive' the Muslim Youth Group and advance the cause of Islam among our youth through our 'ISCN Youth Revival Project'. Through our programs and activities we believe we can create a strong foundation for the future of the youth in the Corona/Norco Muslim Community.
The ISCN Youth Revival Project will continue to work to help make a difference in the lives of young Muslims (your sons and daughters). Each and every young Muslim who often feels pressured to abandon their Muslim Identity can find refuge in our programs.
Recently, our ISCN Youth Revival Project hosted the Corona Muslim Community's efforts at Humanitarian Day 2007. On Sunday, September 29, the Muslim youth of Corona, alongside youth groups from all over southern California, distributed food, hygiene kits, and other necessities to the less fortunate. It is an amazing experience for all of us, and Insha'Allah we can continue to take part in it for years to come.
However, continuing these programs and activities cannot function without your support. It is essential to helping young Muslims establish a strong connection with their faith and their Mosque. As the Messenger of Allah(pbuh) once said: 'There are seven people for whom Allah will provide His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His shade'. Among these seven includes a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah and a man whose heart is attached to the Mosque (Bukhari, Muslim). It is our intention to help make the Corona Masjid an enjoyable and an approachable institution for your children.
Today, you can make a significant contribution to our cause through various means, whether it be a financial contribution (which we most urgently need), sponsoring an event, or simply signing up your Children to the ISCN Youth Revival Group.
