ISCN RECENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
- ISCN has appointed a religious affairs committee comprised of Br. Riad Adhami, Br. Kalim Farooki, and Br. Akbar Rizvi. The new committee will be responsible for developing guidelines for speakers at ISCN, reach out to the local community and the community at large and solicit ideas about religious programming and issue resolutions and guidelines, research and answer religious questions, ensure diversity of religious programming and maintain community unity, ensure alignment with ISCN vision and mission as indicated in our By-Laws, and resolve conflict on religious matters and engagements, if any.
- ISCN boys program will be from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. It is for boys from age 9 to age 14. The program will include Isha’ Salah, Basketball, brief lecture, presentation and discussion of Islamic topics and of course Pizza and hot chocolate. This meeting alternates every other Friday.
- If you are not an ISCN member, or you have changed your contact information or you wish to renew your membership or increase your auto deduction amount. Please fill a membership form located on the eastern wall of the Building and drop it in the membership drop-off box. All contributions from this avenue support the Masjid’s operation.
- If you are a regular shopper at Albertson Supermarket, Please register ISCN as your partner. ID cards are available with Br. Azmi. This will greatly benefit ISCN financially.
- In ISCN’s efforts to ensure that our elders (senior citizens) are living more active live, ISCN will start the Elders Group monthly gathering for the brothers who are 60 years old and above. The program will include special activities and events suited to the elders interest. If interested to join, please contact either Br. Dastagir Anwar @ 951-284-8907 or Br. Akabr Rizvi @ 951-734-0130.
- If you wish to receive ISCN announcements by eMail, please send us an eMail to info@coronamuslims.com so we can include you in our distribution list.
- IF you are not a member of ISCN yet, please do so. It is Sadaqah and only ($10) a month per adult. If you are a member, we encourage you to try our auto deduction method. It is safe and timely and will ensure that your membership continues to be in good standing. You can print ISCN’s membership application from our website http://www.coronamuslims.com/ISCNFORMS/ISCN%20Membership%20Application.pdfor pick it up from the Masjid. Please drop-off you completed application in the membership box or handed to any board member.
- Donated house to Islamic organizations is still for sale. All proceeds are donated and ISCN will get over $100,000 of the sales proceeds. If interested please contact Br. Shahid Jalal or see Flyer on the bulletin board or on ISCN website www.coronamuslims.com to view details.
- The lunch committee has prepared lunch. Please buy on your way out. All proceeds go to the Majid fund.
- Please donate generously for the maintenance of the Masjid and for the Phase II Construction.
